1. Dimensions of CTIA’s Tungsten Alloy Rod
(1) Diameter: 3–100 mm, with common sizes including Φ5 mm, Φ10 mm, Φ15 mm, Φ20 mm, Φ30 mm, Φ50 mm, Φ80 mm, and Φ100 mm; customized diameters are available according to requirements.
(2) Length: 200–1000 mm, with customized cutting available for different assembly and machining requirements.
(3) Tolerance: ±0.03 mm to ±0.1 mm, with higher dimensional accuracy achievable through precision grinding; length tolerance can be customized.
2. Surface Conditions of CTIA’s Tungsten Alloy Rod
CTIA offers different surface conditions according to machining and application requirements:
(1) Swaged: Strengthened through rotary swaging to improve material density and mechanical performance.
(2) Turned: Machined by turning to achieve smooth surfaces for general assembly applications.
(3) Ground: Precision ground to achieve higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
(4) Polished: Finished with reduced surface roughness for applications requiring high surface quality.
3. Grades and Density Specifications of CTIA’s Tungsten Alloy Rod
CTIA’s tungsten alloy rods mainly include W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, and W-Ni-Fe-Mo series. Different tungsten contents and binder phase systems determine material density, mechanical properties, magnetic characteristics, and application performance.
(1) 90WNiFe / 90WNiCu Tungsten Alloy Rod
Contains approximately 90% tungsten with a density of about 17.0 g/cm³. 90WNiFe consists of a Ni-Fe binder phase, providing magnetic characteristics and good strength, while 90WNiCu consists of a Ni-Cu binder phase, offering non-magnetic properties for applications requiring low magnetic interference.
(2) 92.5WNiFe / 92.5WNiCu Tungsten Alloy Rod
Contains approximately 92.5% tungsten with a density of about 17.5 g/cm³. It provides a balance of high density, strength, toughness, and machinability, with 92.5WNiFe offering magnetic properties and 92.5WNiCu providing non-magnetic characteristics for counterweights, shielding components, and precision structures.
(3) 92.5WNiFeMo / 93WNiFeMo Tungsten Alloy Rod
Contains approximately 92.5%–93% tungsten with molybdenum (Mo) addition based on the W-Ni-Fe system. The Mo strengthening effect improves high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and structural stability for demanding applications requiring enhanced thermal performance.
(4) 95WNiFe / 95WNiCu Tungsten Alloy Rod
Contains approximately 95% tungsten with a density of about 18.0–18.1 g/cm³. It provides higher mass concentration capability and good mechanical performance, with 95WNiFe featuring magnetic properties and 95WNiCu offering non-magnetic characteristics.
(5) 97WNiFe Tungsten Alloy Rod
Contains approximately 97% tungsten with a density exceeding 18.5 g/cm³. It provides higher density, excellent mass concentration capability, and good dimensional stability for space-limited precision counterweights and functional components.

(1) Tensile strength: 700–1400 MPa
(2) Yield strength: 370–800 MPa
(3) Hardness: HRC 26–40
(4) Elongation: 2%–15%
